Calcific Tendonitis of the Shoulder is the condition when rotator cuff tendon is swollen and irritated due to a buildup of calcium. This can restrict range of motion of the shoulder and cause pain in the arm, neck and shoulder. There are many treatments that can be undertaken for calcific tendonitis of the shoulder, these include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, traditional physiotherapy, low level laser therapy, steroid injections and sometimes surgery.
